http://androidforums.com – So I accepted the OTA a few days ago because I wasn't really considering rooting and unlocking my phone. I decided to try and root for the first time on my old GS2 and I was successful. So now that I did that I want to do it for my Note 2 but now I can't unlock the bootloader since I'm now at VRALL4. Is there a way to downgrade to VRALJB and unlock the bootloader from there? Thanks. (General)

Hello!

I bought a Transformer Tf700 the other day and stupid as I was ( It seems ) updated it to JB before unlocking the bootloader and rooting the device. So I have been searching around the forums, but it seems that there is no way to actually Root a JB device that did not unlock the bootloader in beforehand.

So my question is can I root&unlock the device?

I'm going to buy the n4 and I would like to unlock the bootloader and root it. Since I won't flash a new rom at the beginning, I don't know if I should root it, just because of the warranty. Will it be void if I unlock the bootloader?

HI, I wanted to root an Xperia Nei mt15i, i found an article with a step by step guide ,which said downgrade the firmware to 2.3.2 then gingerbreak etc etc, and well now the phone says that the battery is empty, and i cant install a custom firmware becouse i cant unlock the bootloader, so i cant get in fastboot mode, anyone can help please?:confused:
