First of all, you should probably know:
- It is rooted
- I renamed the camera click .ogg sound files using ROM toolbox pro, but the camera app still makes the shutter sound
Is there any way to disable the camera shutter sound? I've been scouring the internet for solutions and thought rooting my phone would do the trick, but now I can't seem to be able to even accomplish this task with root.
I have been trying to disable the camera shutter since it is so annoying when taking pictures. I downloaded a file explorer and went to /system/media/audio/ui and found .ogg sound files, I renamed the camera_click.ogg to camera_click.ogg.bak and restarted the phone. The shutter sound still persists, is the sound file located somewhere else?
Alright so I'll try to make this clear as possible I did a quick search and saw that there were two options to disabling the cameras shutter sound one where I saw that you can turn your ringer all the way down till its silent or on vibrate and another where you go to the stock camera app click the gear wheel and click the gear wheel again but I don't see anything that had to do with disabling the
I'm not talking about shutter lag but the actual shutter speed that varies depending on the light. Right now I'm using camera zoom FX and even in bright light, shutter speed is about 1/17 which is a bit slow for my shaky hands. The default camera isn't much better at around 1/20 to 1/30 at best. I think if I could choose 1/60 or faster I might have better pics.
The Camera is kick me back every time
So i searched a Bit in Google and found this https://rapidshare.com/files/3100105498/Camera.apk
