Ok, so im not too familiar with bluetooth but while I was updating/patching some wifi drivers, something went wrong somewhere and now my bluetooth mouse stopped working. It can be seen and added, but the mouse does not move nor click.
The Bluetooth icon never appears even though my dongle is detected and running. I've tried changing the icon to constantly being present whether the dongle is there or not in the Bluetooth settings and it still doesn't appear.
Code:
$ lsusb | grep tooth

$lsmod | grep

$hciconfig

I am trying to connect a Wiimote(on Ubuntu 12.04) through a Belkin F8T013XX bluetooth dongle . I can sync it by pressing 1+2 and the Wiimote is detected, but after a while, the connection dies . dmesg shows me the following
Bluetooth: hci0 command tx timeout Error when using Wiimote.
When i try to shut down my system after that, its takes a very long to shut down.
What could be happening?
hello, all. I recently purchased an inexpensive bluetooth dongle for my laptop running lucid 64-bit. the device, however, doesn't seem to want to work in ubuntu.
Hello,
I have a HP-DM1.
When I install ubuntu, the wifi doesnt work (on fresh install), but bluetooth works (I can connect with my phone a browse the files on my phone micro-SD card).
My wifi chip is a broadcom bc4312, so, as explained in many post, I have to use the Broadcom STA wireless driver (proprietary) and then the wifi works perfectly.
I am using the bluez package for my bluetooth usb dongle on ubuntu server. I want to be able to initiate bluetooth connection from the dongle to a device, however a device itself shall not be able to find by bluetooth dongle or initiate a connection / pairing.
Hello,
I have been trying to get VMC (Vodafone mobile connect) software to work with the Huawei K3765 on Opensuse 11.2.
I have installed linux version of VMC from Betavine but when I run VMC it doesn't recognise the Huawei as a known device.
I believe it is because the firmware of this device is not loaded. The Windows driver will load the correct firmware, but the firmware is stored in volatile memory. If you shutdown, you have to reload it to make it work. You can try to use the firmware here
