Calxeda Demos ARM Server Running Ubuntu at UDS

http://www.linuxandlife.com – Linux dedicated servers are very widely used and recently, Calexda - a manufacturer of ARM servers - has unveiled a new server unit at the Ubuntu Developer Summit in Oakland (California). In this event, Calxeda's Vice President of Marketing, Karl Freund, showed off one of the company's servers loaded with several of the EnergyCore units running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. The machine was running a LAMP stack showing the Calxeda web site using node.js and Ruby on Rails. He also said that compiling the ARM version of Ubuntu should happen significantly faster using the new servers. 48 quad-core ARM proc (Distributions)
