I'm sorry if the question is simple but I cannot figure out!
My Calibre library is about 5 Gb (since there are a lot of PDF manuals).
I switched the internal SD with the External one using the trick so now I have 32Gb of Internal storage.
I read the thread Edge & Calibre workflow but in my case I cannot use that system because my lib is more than 2Gb of Dropbox cloud space).

Is it possible to get a newer version (or an older one) of Calibre into the repository that synaptic/software center uses? the version that is in there now (0.8.51) happens to be the ONLY one that has a bug preventing Calibre from handling .LIT files of any kind. The bug was not present in 0.8.50 and is fixed in any version higher than 0.8.51. Thanks guys.
Can anyone point me to a recipe for how to upload a book to my android device? I'm formatting my own stuff with html and then converting it with Calibre.
I'm using Calibre 0.8.61. The Kindle app version is 3.6.0.87. I don't know what file format to use (epub doesn't seem to work) or where to put the file (/sdcard/kindle doesn't seem to work).
