I have created a new contact person in Google Contacts on my PC (Win7, IE9) and added a birthday event to this person.
The event is not showing on Google Calendar (even with subscription for Contacts' birthdays and events under settings).
It is showing in Calendar on my ICS android (HTC One S) mobile device.
I deleted this new person from Google Contacts (on PC) and the problem now is that t
On my calendar app (just the preinstalled one on the phone) I have a contact that has their Birthday listed three times on the same day. One is my facebook birthday calendar and two that say are from "Birthday Calendar (Read Only)" I know I can use the menu at the top to check which calendars show up I was just wondering how to get rid of the two extras.
Hello
Calendar question: I have HTC Thunderbolt. All software is up to date. In my Calendar, I have google, contacts, pc & facebook all checked. However, in my calendar, not all of my facebook contacts birthdays are showing up.
Yes their birthday is listed, because when I go to their contact information in my people app, its there.
With Google ending Google calendar sync how will that affect the dates and such stored in my calendar when I switch devices and what not? Will it no longer auto download them to my new calendar and such? With the Note 2 having its own calendar I uninstalled the Google one since I do not need two telling me about the dates and getting two notifications. Once I did that Calendar sync failed.
After having trouble once again with Thunderbird+Lightning after yesterday's updates, I decided to give Evolution a try. I'm liking it so far, but I have the following issue: all the events in my Google calendar which are set as recurrent (say every year, like a birthday) are not showing in my Evolution calendar.
I'm looking for a JavaScript calendar which can be used for displaying data in a nice calendar view. I would need to provide the calendar with a list of established events which have dates and other information, such as a URL to link to and text to be displayed on the calendar.
Xubuntu 11.10 on Dell P-WS 380, pentium 4.
Just moved over from Ubuntu 10.10. Mostly enjoying, but missing the evolution calendar panel applet. Is there an easy way to achieve something similiar in xubuntu / xfce? I want a click on the date in the panel to pop up (down) a calendar.
Minimum requirement: To be able to browse dates / weeks / month / year.
I exported facebook birthdays to Google Calendar a while back. Since I dropped HTC Sense (which has its own facebook sync built in) I've been using this method to sync facebook contacts' birthdays to my android device(s) and never had problems. But suddenly, I don't know since when exactly, "Friends' Birthdays" are no longer shown in Google Calendar.
My Microsoft Outlook Exchange calendar (PC) only syncs my calendar back to July 2012 on both my Motorola Electrify M AND Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. No clue why there is a limit on back dates for two different devices. I have seen references to MyPhoneExplorer Client. Any idea if this would allow me to sync all of the past dates (few years worth)?
