hey guys, what happened cairo compositing manager opengl? i cant find a working package anywhere and it wont compile
I'm fairly new to linux and have just recently made the switch from ubuntu to Fedora as there wasnt a whole lot of support for the better open source ATI drivers.
So far Ive been able to get the mesa drivers working with the graphics card but still cannot get opengl working with Cairo Dock. Can anyone tell me what i need to do to enable opengl with Cairo Dock.

While the Mesa software stack has made some steps towards supporting OpenGL 3.x, this free software library used by open-source graphics drivers is still a ways from supporting this industry graphics API thats years old and has already been surpassed by OpenGL 4.x. There hasn't been too much major progress lately on GL3 support, but some think it could be achieved next year.
Hello,
I recently upgraded from 11.2 to 11.3. I had to manually install nVidia drivers to get the desktop working correctly (compiz was enabled), now the system runs fine except for cairo-dock which doesn't start on KDE boot.
Running it from console and choosing Yes when asked for using OpenGL, it returns an error
djechelon@MONSTR:~> cairo-dock
I have an amd64 system with an onboard Radeon HD4250 video card.
After upgrading, unity fails to startu due to xorg problems.
Has anyone else had this problem?
How was it fixed?
Any ideas?
(I don't have access to the computer at this time, or I would give more info.
I installed F17 on an Ivy Bridge system.
I then installed SDL2 from hg.
SDL2 compiled and linked fine.
So I went and built all the SDL2 tests.
But when I try to run them all I see is this:
Code:
$ ./testgl2
No OpenGL support on this system
$ ./testgles
No OpenGL ES support on this system
$ ./testdraw2
Couldn't initialize video driver: No available video device
$ glxinfo |

Salutations!
So I just got my new Lenovo H330 desktop computer. I've installed chrome and tried to play a game via NaCl entitled 'Bastion' but to my horror it says the game requires an OpenGL compatible graphics card.
