Those of you who have ever been interested in reviving their childhood memories by playing some old-school video games have probably heard of emulators. emulators for various game consoles, including the NES, Super NES, and the SEGA Genesis, are available for Android as well.
...and the documentation-shortage is getting an problem.
Preface:
I was always interested in emulation.
So after (successfully) programming emulators for several game consoles (and some other stuff),
i wanted to create one able to play an alltime favorite of mine:
Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros.
So i needed either 2 emulators or 1 snes emulator that can do both.
So after finding out that
I tell you a place, where You can enjoy classic games such as Super Mario, Street fight, Metal Slug
, whatever you can think of when you played in childhood.
what's exciting is you don't need to download emulators, just find the apps you like, install and play it.
I had snes purify scan everything once (I think). It did about 15 roms in a split second. Then it wouldn't show the files as active again. I went to open in bsnes and no go. They're there but not opening. Any tips?
Mednafen is a great multi-system emulator which uses lower computer resource and has many advanced features,it supports save states, take screen snapshots and has the ability to remap hotkey functions and virtual system inputs to a keyboard, a joystick, or both simultaneously.
It emulates:
Best gift for Xperia game lovers!! You wont wanna miss it.
Thousands of games: Super Mario, Street fight, Metal Slug
,all specially tuned for Xperia. Look, they bring something to you, right? Yes, your childhood and your fun.
Come on!!
Hey everyone,
Just a quick question...
Does anyone know if it is possible to use any android handset (preferably the SGS2) to play 2-player emulated games of any kind?
What I'm really after is being able to link 2 bluetooth controllers to one SGS2 to play SNES/GENS/GBA games on the train with my girlfriend.
Please help if you know anything!
So I grabbed one of those bluetooth controllers for my TB to goof around with some classic snes/genesis roms. Unfortunately the market is flooded with various versions, half of which appear to be ripoff's of each other (obviously stolen gui's and menu hierarchies). I remember a long time ago when this was a problem.
