I am building a web application where my users will be able to upload files.
Some command line syntax I don't know how to set, am a noob sometimes, sorry is that's obvious
Let's says I have the following path for all my assets :
/var/www/site/system/images/{image_id}/{format}/{file}.{extension}
Inside the {image_id} folder, I have multiple formats (original, medium, thumb, etc...).
I only want to import the /var/www/site/system/images/{image_id}/original folder, and k
Hello there!!!
I would like to download media files with AVI axtension on the same file at once, how can I do it in a command line, contents are like below:
Code:
www.site.com/folder/content.avi
www.site.com/folder/something.avi
www.site.com/folder/file.aviwww.site.com/folder/blabla.avi
I know this one:
Code:
wget www.site.com/folder/{1..100}.avi
but I don't have series, even with *.a
I didn't have cpanel access with my old webhost. I used cute ftp to upload the site from my computer. It seemed okay, all images were visible and links worked. I updated the text on pages several times uploaded with no problems. Yesterday I added some new images and now NO images show on the site. The file path appears to be the same.
I deleted the images file and tried reloading, same result.
The last few days my Ubuntu One Folder won't update. When I save a file in it the Ubuntu One Client says it is being uploaded, but nothing happens, and I get no error message. I have the same problem on my work computer (running Windows) as on my Home computer (Ubuntu 11.10) I haven't to my knowledge changed anything, it worked fine before, and suddenly it stopped.
I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure this out. I hope someone can shed some light on my problem.
I need to know the simplest way to set default file permissions on a folder I created: /var/www/uploads
So when someone accesses the site they insert some information and then upload a file to the server, inside that uploads folder.

We've usually host our clients site, but we aren't hosting this one. The website itself (weddle-funeral.com) works just fine.
I have added a folder outside the default folder. After a while it showed up on the website and after restarting the client on my machine it showed up there, too.
It says "File Sync is up-to-date" but none of the files in the added folder are being uploaded.
Hi,
Since about a week we have been getting LOT of complaints from our datacenter about a few of our webs holding phishing pages, shells, deface pages etc etc. I have tried clamav, maldet but they don't seem to help a lot.
I just got another complaint.
