This isn't really a full tutorial, more a merge of two separate ones so that you can start tasker tasks and / or autovoice, in order to do home-automation or basically just start any tasker task you want.
Let me show you what I'm talking about:
What you need:Tasker
AutoVoice (optional, if you dont want to launch a task directly)
I was wondering if there was a way to create a widget with tasker that disables certain profiles. I ask this because when I travel I use my phone for maps and spotify. The instant I change from maps to spotify tasker tends to kill my gps. I also have a tasker profile to run greenify every so often.
I recently picked up Tasker, and so am trying to figure my way around how to use it for my in-car install. However, I can't seem to figure out, what is probably the most important piece, getting the screen to switch off / airplane mode to switch on when I remove power. I have installed Secure Settings plug in, but everything I have tried so far to get the screen to switch off has failed.
When ever I attempt to start my Kindle Fire(It's rooted, with ICS), it sometimes will not boot. However, on rare occasions, it starts up. I go through the FFF loading screen, get the booting splash screen. I get to my lock screen, and boom! It shuts down. Repeat..
Also, I do get stuck at FFF's "CHARGING, LOW BATTERY PLEASE WAIT" screen.
After tried several apps about rotation, like "ultimate rotation" and "adaptive rotation lock", my android tablet still is having problem.
Finding the great tool Tasker, I begin to think maybe I can create my own app: when I click volume+ key once, the screen will rotate 90 degree clockwise.
With the help of this app, while system's "auto rotation" is off, I
I am trying to use Tasker to automatically forward my mobile calls to my desk phone when I am in the office. The profiles and tasks are set up fine but my One M8 gives an on screen prompt each and every time and, if I do not catch it, then it will not forward. Any ideas or thoughts?
I am open to automating this with a different app if there is a better way.
