Educate me, do I want busy box?
I'm running ASOP#5 JB ROM. I installed an app wanting root access and it told me I need busy box. Do I need busy box on 4.1 or will it just make things behind the scenes messy?
Thanks

Hello,
I have installed ubuntu 9.10 on an acer aspire 5600 and I have a very slow startup.
When checking the logs I see that there's a difficulty with a driver. After some searching I found out it had to do with the webcam (orbicam).
I decided to blacklist the driver by adding the following line in the file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist : blacklist gspca.
At first glance, my question might look bit trivial. Please bear with me and read completely.
I have identified a busy loop in my Linux kernel module. Due to this, other processes (e.g. sshd) are not getting CPU time for long spans of time (like 20 seconds).
I am running Fedora 18 with the Cinnamon desktop. I am sure that when I first installed it, I was getting a busy cursor when an application was loading. However, it is no longer happening.
I have an Amazon EC2 micro instance. I believe that this is 1 core (or 2 for periodic bursts) with 4 CPU's. I'm getting confused with the terminology (ECU vs CPU vs Core) but really I would like to see how busy each CPU is. When I look at top it seems to be showing me just the cores.
After the lastest big upgrade I'm having some issues in the load of udev, vhba and acpid. I don't know if it's related but the lastest package that I installed was acpid.
Finally upgraded my main computer to 11.2. There's 2 busy cursors, right? One for "I'm not taking any input", and one for "I'm busy, but I'll take input." From memory, the first one I'm used to seeing in yast, and is just the spinning thing. While the second one I'm used to seeing in firefox and is the pointer with the spinning thing next to it.
Dear all, when I try to update from kernel 3.5.4-1 and X start (via KDM or LXDM), I got no response from mouse or keyboard. If I boot in console mode, I do not have network connection. This is my boot log after update:Wed Oct 24 14:49:29 2012: :: Setting hostname: z420-mallet [BUSY] [DONE]
