The problem with something like this is that bundles are very hard to create, and are easy to create wrong. Compiling a bundle is also very hard to automate, because you need to have a Chakra bundle chroot.
Hi there,
I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 on a new machine. By mistake, I select Spanish as language during the install, so my whole system is in Spanish now.
Ubuntu 12.10 64bits. Yesterday periodical update, goes from Firefox 17.0 to 18.0.
I am using firefox 17 in Catalan language and I get "you must reinicialize the browser" message.
After Firefox reinitilization I lost locale language setting.
In firefox About:config I have in "general.useragent.locale" en-US.
Firefox is bundled these days with the OpenSuse-KDE settings, rekonq & qupzilla have had a Chakra theme for quite some time, so there might be an interest to add a more KDE/Chakra theme to chrome/chromium too:http://chakra-linux.org/sources/chromiu … chakra.crxIf there is an interest in this, then will try to bundle-in this theme.
Hello.
Just downloaded Firefox 12.0. I read greek websites but need an add-on to convert the greek language to english on my firefox browser. Can someone give me a link that will do this without running into any ubuntu conflicts? Been looking at the FireFox website for the past hour not having any success.
Thank You.
I installed Gimp 2.8 via the bundle manager and tried to start from the 'Installed Bundles' start-icon and also received the error messages. Then I started Gimp from the kickoff menu and Gimp starts.I have a fully updated system and I ran pacman -Syu prior to installing.Screenshot is as it installed, i.e NOT single window mode.
If your system is up to date, then you should also see the system message that caused the failure between parentheses, as in:Unable to mount "/tmp/cinstall-1000/pidgin-2.10.6-1-x86_64-app" (No free loop device)if not, then you're badly outdated...Plus, I think that the Pidgin bundle hasn't been rebuilt in a long time, I guess it would benefit from a rebuild.
Hi Chakra Community,I spend some hours trying to bundle PlayOnLinux. I think I figured out why it is currently impossible to install app or wine versions with the POL bundle : the bash scripts. In fact, POL does a wide use of bash scripts and, in this scripts, some common commands like tar, awk, nc ... are used. But it does not seem to work if this commands are not in the bundle.
I experienced an error message regarding something about cannot locale en-US.UTF8 after an update and reboot today.I got rid of the error message by uncommenting:en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8 en_US ISO-8859-1 in /etc/locale.genPrior to fix:$ locale
locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directoryAfter
