Used the ROM Toolbox to change my boot animation several times successfully (over numerous months). Last change, on the next reboot, I get the Google splash screen, then black. The phone actually boots fine, but you can't properly wake the screen any more.
For some reason, when I load AOKP from moboot, I get two splash screens, one with the unicorn, and then the wide lime green cyanogenmod splash screen with the play triangle. This is before the boot animation. In my /boot, the only splash file I have is moboot.splash.AOKP.tga. Would anyone have any explanation on why this would be? Is the splash built into the rom? Are others able to reproduce?

Does anybody know were i can get a Wu Tang boot animation & back splash screen? Or can someone create one for me thanks!
I have managed to create an animation (frame by frame) with over 100 images and it works perfectly. Now I want to take this animation and use it as a splash screen in one of my apps. The problem is that in order to start the animation i should click on my screen.
I have tried many ways to make it run automatically but all failed.
I have searched high and low for the answer to this question...sorry if my search criteria sucked.
I have unlocked, rooted, and flashed nameless on my HTC Desire C. I have also flashed the HTC Desire C Customiser

But I want to change the splash screen to my own.
Hello, In a sudden rage of laggyness, I decided to extremely debloat my RAZR, however, after deleting some apps and rebooting the phone, I noticed that the boot animation sound was gone.
I want to re-enable it, but I don't know what the app is, and I don't want to re-flash everything.
Hi i tried to change the boot animation of my SG2 but the thing is that i tried to download bootanimation.zip into system/media
but when i restarted my phone blank screen came up no animation itself
Is there any problem with bootsamsung.qmg ?? please help me out ......:confused:

Noob @ all things ROM
I did full root etc and started using ROMS.
I have used those which allow custom boot animation.
However after 2 days of trawling google and trying to move bootanimation.zip still no luck on restart.
The only related files are the 2 .qmg files bootsamsung and bootsamsungloop in system/media
As well as bootanimation.zip in system/bin.
