Hello my friends, I'm looking for about how to solve the problem between the proximity sensor and the call rec. I suppose everyone knows what i'm talking about, i've done the phone apk with call rec and no incremental tone. And if the proximity sensor is activated and you try to record a call it stops.....:silly:
Any idea or trick to solve the problem? Thanks :good:
Love this awesome phone but as of late the proximity sensor on this note has either broke or is buggy. First started to notice that the red light of the proximity sensor would not turn off. After a while as I make phone calls my screen will turn off but as I put my phone away from my face it doesn't turn back on.
I have a P925. Unlocked it though IMEI, my proximity sensor was acting up, since the screen went off during calls and no button would bring it back. I checked the rest of the components on the same flex cable (camera, earspeaker, noise mic) and all work fine except for the proximity sensor, so i thought it might be a software problem.
I rooted the phone and installed the clockworkMOD thing...
hi all,
Is there any way of changing (or an application) that would allow me to set the proximity sensor to work faster ?
Whenever I make a call and need to dial some extension number (i.e. when calling to a hostpital) the screen is already off and I need to wait 3-4 sec for the screen to light up.
My HTC ARIA LIBERTY has some problem. When I get a call the display flashed and off.it never get on.in front of the phone near the power button it get on again.I saw in the thread it is the problem of the proximity sensor. How do i fix this.the sensor hardware can be exchange??? or what :crying::crying::crying::crying:
Hello - I own HTC ONE X
since last few days the proximity sensor's red light (above the screen on the left-top corner) is turned on 24/7 regardless in a call or not.
HEELLPP me! what had gone wrong? and how do we fix it?
Thanks :)
Hey guys, I've been having a weird issue for the past week now. On Mean Bean 3.09 every phone call I take or make ends up rebooting, usually within a minute of the call going through.
Caution: not-so-skilled people ask for help to more skilled friends !!!
How a proximity sensor works:
Basically there is a modulated infrared emitter and a correspondent IR receiver. When the modulated light is reaching the receiver, the sensor will become active.
In the mobile phones, the structure is built like in the below drawing.
Hey,
I am trying to get the proximity sensor working for CM9 as pressing a button after each call can be really annoying.
After doing some looking around I have found that the sensor is fully working on this ROM:

This is based on android 4.0.4, same as CM9...before I try, does anyone think its possible to port the driver from this ROM
