Bootloader help

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I had an array of problems which ended up with a "Boot has failed: sleeping forever" message and ended up having to boot into here with a USB stick (Fedora 11 download) . There were 3 separate kernels available before the crash, two fc10s and one fc12. Now clicking on system-admin-bootloader returns an "exception occurred" message saying kudzu doesn't exist. Now I'm afraid to even touch the flash drive much less get into the settings or reboot. I'm logged in as Live System User. Should I just make this a clean install and bite the bullet on whatever I had before the crash? (HowTos)
