I'm getting a new microSD card for my Triumph and I'm wondering if I will still be able to boot into CWM after switching SD cards. Basically, was the recovery.img saved on the phone's internal memory or on the SD card? Also, if I copy and paste my nandroid backup from my old SD card to my new one, will I still be able to successfully restore it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. :)
Hello, I am new in linux, I did boot my pc by live cd of fedora 18 86-64, everything was fine and I can see my desktop, and then I choose its option to copy it to hdd, it is installed successfully and rebooted but after reboot from hdd I am seeing a black screen with a curser, no any mouse pointer , not any hang, its just black !
I recently installed Chrubuntu on my chromebook. It uses SeaBIOS when booting, and everything works properly. However, I like to keep my SD card in at all times since the chromebook has a small internal harddrive. Every time I choose to boot ubuntu it always tries booting off of the SD card before the harddrive, forcing me to restart the computer and take the SD card out each time it boots.
Many thanks for your suggestions. I tried it the way you described it. However i am not able to boot from my sd card. In general my laptop is able to boot sd cards. But in my case there seem to be some problems.i find my sd card under /dev/mmcblkp0 therefore i have to use grub2.

I gotten newer hardware which it should be able to boot from usb, I set the bios option to boot from USB FDD first and I get something like in the following scene but it remains stuck in: Syslinux...
