When I update to the latest kernel in OS 11.1, I receive, as part of the total messages:

I have 2 ubuntu server running the same version 12.0.4 LTS

On one of them I can run sudo modprobe fuse normally on the other this gives back the error FATAL: Module fuse not found.

I am using openSuSE 11.2 on a VGN-AR41L. I have also erased the preinstalled Home Vista (what a pleasure). Now to my problem. My system boots correctly but if I press the <ESC> key while booting I can see the following messages:

"Doing fast boot FATAL: mbcache module not found FATAL: ahci module not found "

It's been about 2 hours that I'm trying to make VirtualBox work.

I try to compile file named test.php I get error

/usr/bin/ld: cannot open output file test: Is a directory

test.pas(5,1) Error: Error while linking

test.pas(5,1) Fatal: There were 1 errors compiling module, stopping

Fatal: Compilation aborted

I renamed file and all it's ok.

while booting with bootsplash turned off there's a message "FATAL: Module ata_piix not found FATAL: Error running install command for ata_piix" .Though everything works fine i'd like to know what does this message mean and is there a way to disable loading of ata_piix whatever it means. thanx in advance.;)

I update to karnel 3.6.10-2.fc17.x86_64 and know i have a problem with virtualbox, I got error: Failed to open a session for the virtual machine IE9.

and when I try to run: sudo /etc/sysconfig/modules/VirtualBox.modules

the result is : ERROR: Module vboxdrv not found. ERROR: Module vboxnetflt not found. ERROR: Module vboxnetadp not found.

is any one can help with this issue?

Hello, everyone. First of all, I'm quite a noob, so ANY help will be.. helpful :)

Yesterday I've updated my openSUSE 11.1 to 11.2 using installation DVD. After that, as system boots, I started to get lines like:

Code: FATAL: Module jbd not found FATAL: Module mbcache not found FATAL: Module ext3 not found and so on with different modules..

modprobe iscsi_trgt

results in

so did a

# apt-get install module-assistant debhelper

then

# m-a a-i iscsitarget

Fails with error
