That looks like a hard kernel lock, you might want to search the kernel bugtracker for similar reports: https://bugzilla.kernel.org
It sounds like you need to rebuild the Catalyst module for your new kernel. I don't have an AMD card myself, but information should be available in the wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Catalyst
If someone find this with the same error: I reported it at the kernel bugtracker, but they were... not helpful:https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78781I feel they ignored the real problem saying "buy a new CPU"
I have been having this same issue for about 1.5 months, there seems to be several report of this:https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=962211But the kernel people don't seem to discuss it, anyone has news?
As I posted in https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 3#p1463533:I reverted kernel to 3.16.3-1 and it works. It seems to be a problem with 3.16.4-1 version.Edit: In this topic https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=187985 says that kernel 3.16.4 failed to load more kernel modules.
