@evleaks is at it again. This time it isn’t so high profile, but nevertheless Boost Mobile fans might be happy to know about the LG Venice. It’s essentially the Optimus L7, which is a mid-level phone boasting a 4.3-inch (800 x 480) display, 1 GHz CPU, 5MP rear camera, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. We recently saw a leak of another version of the Optimus L7 for U.S.
Consumers who prefer or need a no-contract smartphone will have a couple new options available soon through Boost Mobile. For the first time ever, the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G (a rebranded Sprint Epic Touch 4G) will be available with a no-contract carrier. Priced at $370, buyers can get this device starting September 6th with Boost Mobile’s $55 Android Monthly Unlimited plan.
The Samsung Galaxy S 4 is by all accounts the next big thing, but its predecessor isn’t dead just yet. Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile announced today at the CTIA that they will offer a 4G LTE-capable Galaxy S3 beginning next month.
Two weeks ago we revealed that the LG Optimus L9 would be available on T-Mobile’s network after a few leaked shots were revealed. Today, T-Mobile confirmed what we all like to hear – launch date and pricing. The Optimus L9 will launch on October 31st for $79.99 on a two-year contract with a $50 mail-in rebate.
Leaked earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G in Titanium is Boost Mobile’s newest prepaid handset. The device is essentially a re-purposed Galaxy S II, sporting the same specifications of Samsung’s 2011 flagship smartphone.
The underwater resilient phone, the Kyocera Hydro, is headed to Boost Mobile for release on August 3rd. The phone is going to be stocked with Android 4.0 with a 3.5′ screen. It’s going to cost $129 and be able to withstand at least 30 minutes below the surface. I wonder how good the signal strength will be under the water?
Rumor: T-Mobile to move to no-contract model soon | Mobile - CNET News
If T-Mobile ever stops sucking in my area, I would switch to a no contract account immediately. Bring my own unlocked device or buy one of T-Mo's with a monthly payment arrangement, if I need it -- that works for me.
Please build up a kick arse network, T-Mobile, so I can give you my money!
:)
I went by a boost mobile store today and the dealer mentioned that boost is doing away with this plan. He stated that the plan would increase to get 3$ a day of bcz boost wanted more customers on their monthly plans. Has anyone heads of this?
I'm somewhat having a hard time deciding what phone to get since my Transform Ultra passed away three days ago R.I.P. :(
I have to say I like the price of the LG Venice but I LOVE the white SGS24G :D
I figure I would let the pro's (you guys & gals) help me decide on what one to get.
