Hello,
Could you please tell me if there are any books/tutorial on
gdbm programming with C for beginners.
So far, I've found few tutorials and one of those:
http://www.network-theory.co.uk/docs...cintro_22.html
is easy to understand but very short in treatment as it dealt with
three api(s) and others seem difficult so it would better to follow
books/detail tutorial.
Thanks.
Hi,
I would like to become Linux/Unix administrator. Of course I am aware that it is practically impossible to get that job immediately and in the beginning it will be Junior position or 2nd level of technical support.
But I would like to ask: how in-depth knowledge about daemons such like Apache, Sendmail, BIND, Samba should I have?
I'm thinking of revamping our books section. Usually we only get three books in there, and sometimes only two. I'm thinking of moving the free FSF advert we run somewhere else in the magazine, freeing up both pages, then changing the format so that the pictures are smaller and we have slightly fewer words per book. The end result would be, rather than three books an issue, we have six.
I want to code drivers in C in linux os, though I think its very tough. Can I get some hints as to how to start or books to follow? Drivers can be from my USB port to graphics card!!
I know as to where I can search for books, I would like to know as to what the basic knowledge I should start with. Do I need to have hardware knowledge and which specific books are good for novice like me
Is it possible to move the mapp containing Kindle books over to a microSD card and then access the books from the app?
The phone has 1 GB (11 available) so it is in no way a problem at the moment, I'm just curious as to the possibility of accessing books from a removable MicroSD.
Hi everyone.
I just bought a Google Nexus 7 and am requesting help with viewing e-books.
I've installed the Kindle for Android reader onto the Nexus.
I've also created a couple of test e-books, using Sigil. The test e-books are in EPUB format, but I also used Calibre to convert them into MOBI format.
My goal is to view these e-books on my tablet.
I'm proposing this to be a canonical question about enterprise-level Storage Area Networks.
What is a Storage Area Network (SAN), and how does it work?
How is it different from a Network Attached Storage (NAS)?
What are the use cases compared to direct-attached storage (DAS)?
In which way is it better or worse?
Why is it so expensive?
Should I (or my company) use one?
I have a bunch of Kindle Books I've gotten from Amazon.com but I can't stand the Kindle App as there's no way to organize books at all.
Is there any alternate apps that can read in the Kindle Books but would let me organize them into folders or something?
Thanks.
Cannot understand the use of the 'books' of sample s notes; such as education, business, leisure. How do you use these, and why?
