Any suggestion on a magical BMR tool that will work on any AIX/Solaris/HPUX/Linux platforms ? Also support OS boot SAN w/mulitpathing .
If not, any suggestions on how to tackle each OS?
I have a laptop where I installed Oracle Solaris and Linux (Gentoo).
First I installed Linux. I used GPT partitioning scheme. In order to boot Linux I have GRUB 2.
Then I installed Solaris 11.1.
I've scripts specifically written to perform certain actions on HpUx pre-processor output and get desired details.
Now I need to migrate the same to Linux. Instead of rewriting tool entirely for Linux, how can I get the g++ -E (linux) output same as that of hpux aCC -E on a sourcename.
