Ok im so frustrated with this s4 and I have not even had it a week!! I'm trying to send a music file to a galaxy note 2. I have checked settings time and time again. If I send it bluetooth it scans for devices and ALWAYS comes up with no devices. .. even though I'm paired with a device. If I Try and send it via sbeam it makes the chime noise but that's it.
I would like some assistance, or even just advice on where to go, to resolve the following issue.
I installed Fedora 17 on a Thinkpad T43. The bluetooth adapter was recognised, and BlueMan, BlueDevil or the gnome bluetooth manager all seem to be able to turn it on and off, as well as detect other bluetooth devices and pair with them.
sdptool is able to list available bluetooth services.
i just bought a samsung galaxy s4 .. when i scan for bluetooth device nothing appears and no nearby devices are found .. i can't send any file to anyone but i have no problem receiving files .. please help me asap
I update my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to Android 4.3. Sometimes the WiFi goes off without reason and it was not possible to switch on WiFi or Bluetooth. I found that this was caused by two of my Bluetooth devices. I had to go outside out of range of Bluetooth devices and then switch Bluetooth on and then delete pairing I had in the phone (since previous Android 4.1.2 version).
I had bluetooth enabled while I was at my university. Little did I know, my Windows 8 laptop was keeping a record of all bluetooth devices it could find. Now, I have a monstrous list of bluetooth devices in my settings panel, and I can only get rid of them one by one!
Is there a way to clear my bluetooth devices list?
I had paired my bluetooth headset(BH-503) and it shows paired and whenever I wanted to listen songs through the headset, I used to go to sound settings and chose BH-503 to listen. But just for fun I switched off the settings in BH-503(there were three options there regarding the sound quality and the third was switch off) and now its gone from the sound settings and I'm unable to get it back.
I can't get any music player to recognise any new songs. I put on some music, default player recognises them. come back a day later, put new songs on, wont recognise them. there all .mp3's , old and new songs. i just drag all songs into sd card main folder, worked until recently. tried installing kies, wont see them.
