http://forums.opensuse.org – I just installed 11.3 on a Toshiba Satellite A305 laptop. After going through the install process it restarted (without a full reboot I believe) and spent a very long time going through a bunch of message. E.g. it spends about 10-15 minutes building java fonts, and warning me that Japanese/Chinese/Korean might not work in Java. About 20+ minutes after bootup it finishes with all the status messages (including a message that said it couldn't execute /usr/bin/cmp !?) and goes to a blank screen with a mouse sprite -- first a spinning circle, then a regular arrow sprite. So it's no (Distributions)

I'm trying to develop my first Android app with animation using sprite sheets.

object: Toshiba Satellite L115 2GB RAM 160 GB HDD, 1.7 GHz

Problem: Graphic drivers are not compatible, when I log in 3D mode, Picture is changing, deforming, its black.

When I came in system, after 15 minutes, I have a blank screen with numbers and some unknown orders.

I am trying to install Ubuntu 13.04 on a Award Bios (v1.0A) desktop with 512 mb ram. I am trying to boot off the DVD Drive...

I get the message "Boot from ATAPI CD Rom : No Emulation"

The the screen shows Ubuntu 13.04 a few times (and blanks out in between) and then continues to flicker with the purple color and blank screen alternately..

My screen goes blank whenever I plug/unplug my laptop ( Toshiba A215 ) laptop having the ATI X1200 graphics card. I started experiencing this after installing the proprietary driver.

Any time I logout, it also messes up my display manager-the screen is full of so many colors. Please I need help with this. Anyone out there please assist. Thanks alot

It drives me up the wall when the screen keeps going blank after every 10 mins or so, lol. So i right-clicked on the Desktop and went to Settings => Screensaver and in the box opposite 'Blank After' i set the amount to 300 minutes. I hope this is the correct? But what i would like to know is, is there a way i could stop the screen from blanking at the terminal please?

My 2-year old GS2 has started dropping its data connection, and then never recovers unless I reboot it. Just tried a factory reset and that hasn't helped.

No idea what to try next.

HP Pavilion PV6700 - AMD 64x2 - 2G ram - Created live USB, got on and did a complete install. Now whenever I boot up it allows me to log on then goes to a blank screen and loads the mouse then just sits there.

The problem I am having is with receiving Japanese and Chinese text in text messages. I can send Chinese and Japanese charterers just fine, but when others send it to me it just ends up as a blank text. I have simeji installed and have tried other apps but nothing seems to work. Phone model: LG cx670 Android ver. : 2.2.2 my carrier is TELUS

any suggestions or help would be appreciated
