I have noticed that if I change the icon theme using lxappearance some applications don't reflect this change while others do. For example, Iceweasel will use the theme's icon, as will abiword or gedit, but emacs and terminator will not. I have tried numerous themes, and checked to make sure there was an icon provided for the apps, and this same result occurs.
Anyone know how to change the icon of an App in Unicorn ? I used ot be able to just right click on the icon whther it was on teh desktop or in Dolphin and go to Properties. There clicking on the icon would give me the chance to change the icon as I pleased.
I see that's not possible anymore. I use a shell script to kick off the process and have the terminal icon by default.
Due to all the Blackout fuss, I started digging around and noticed that cm7.2 nighlies have been updated quite frequently lately. The current one is cm-7-20120923-NIGHTLY-ace.zip which was uploaded a few days ago..
I am still on 7.1, and feel its time for a change.

Does anyone know how to change the icon set for xfpm? I've changed my icon theme to Faience Azur, which I enjoy quite a lot, but I have a black background and the battery icon is essentially invisible. I'd like to change it to the icon set in /usr/share/icons/CrunchBang-Dark/status/22Any thoughts?
I have an app that I downloaded from the Play store and it's icon is very visually unappealing and I wanted to know if there is way to replace the default icon with one from an icon pack without a launcher. Like, can I permanently associate a new icon with the app I want to change? How can I do it?
