http://androidforums.com – Hi, I´m looking for advice please, I have an LG Optimus P500 for just over 1 year, so out of warranty of course, & the bottom half of the screen has 2 large & lots of thinner black lines across it. Is this a sign that the LCD screen has stopped working fully or something else? I telephoned LG but they weren´t very helpful, simply said as out of warranty send it in & they´ll quote for the necessary repair. I´ve been looking on the forums but haven´t been able to find any posts with my problem. I love the phone but as is it is useless for messages & kik, it only works for c (General)

I got burned by LG. I bought the Optimus 4X HD. Was a great phone, so I thought. 3 weeks in to owning the phone the screen turned half black half white. I contacted LG to have it replaced under warranty. TO MY SURPRISE, I was told by LG USA they couldn't help me because the phone was not meant to be sold in the USA, so I need to contact LG Global.

I've got a question about two broken EVO 3D's.

First one: Fully stock (not rooted, bootloader locked). This one has a broken/malfunctioning screen. After a fall the screen is vertically split in half, left site works good right site is fully black. The glass isn't broken or shattered in any kind.

Second one: Flashed back to stock, bootloader status 'relocked' & S-ON again.

I'm having problems with my phone. My warranty is already over btw. My phone is having a black screen, but the touchscreen works. The rest of the phone works. Vibration, keypad buttons etc. I disassembled my phone, removing the front screen (I think its the digitizer/touchscreen) with the connection.

Hello, I am here to ask for help with my galaxy s3.

I dropped it (from about 0.8m) face down on the concrete. It has some screen protection (the one that comes with the back replacement). The screen didn't break or anything but I have no image whatsoever.

i got my phone less than 30 days ago. the glass on the back of the phone is now full of cracks. NEVER DROP IT. i spoke to LG Canada and they say it is not under warranty even if i never drop it. i told them it is probably a problem when it was manufacture. there answer it is not under warranty.

I read through few posts about people being able to claim their warranty even after unlocking their bootloader , now these people had almost the same problem ..there screen wouldn't display anything or their phone wouldn't boot up at all.

Hi everyone -

I have a Sensation that I bought new from my cell carrier in late January. I sent it in for warranty repair last week for dust under the screen, and HTC informed me that the phone had been rooted and the warranty is void because of it. Now, I am completely clueless as to how to do this, so am confident that the phone was rooted before I purchased it.

Hi i have an acer aspire 1360 and half my screen is black , i cannot change my resolution because then my computer freezes and i am running the lastest ubuntu and have tried anything any advice ,iv also searched forums and many have this problem but couldnt find a fix and ubuntu is impossible to use like this .. any help would be appreciated ,

Screen isn't lighting up 24 weeks 1 day ago

I have a slight issue. My wife's evo 3d screen is no longer coming on. Her phone is HTC Dev Unlocked. Battery is charged, and it doesn't matter if I try to get into bootloader, recovery, or just try to power the phone on. The capacitive buttons light up like they should, but the screen on the phone does not come on. I'm guessing that the light fr the screen went out. So, here's the problem.
