Hello #! community.I was wandering if there was a way I could get a tooltip or information bar (like size, type etc.) to show the bitrate of MP3 files.
PCMan File Manager, an application developed by Hong Jen Yee from Taiwan which is meant to be a replacement for Nautilus, Konqueror and Thunar, is now at version 1.0.2.
PCMan File Manager or PCManFM is already integrated in a large number of distributions, especially because it's a stable version.
Highlights of PCMan File Manager 1.0.2:

Hi,I have problem with setting as default file manager nautilus. When I click Right Buttom Mouse and I choose "File Manager", open Thunar. This situation is repeat also, when I click RBM and choose "Places" and next "Browser here...".In "GUI Menu Editor" I set in "File Manager" execute "nautilus" but it's not working.
Spare a thought for old time stalwarts like Konqueror. Many great features have been stripped out but it's still a a great file manager (and a decent browser) even if Dolphin has been promoted as the default file manager of the KDE desktop. Back in the day, Konqueror was able to handle lots of media without having to open a separate application.
I'm running Statler Openbox. How do I change the default file manager, so that when I "open containing folder" in Firefox or other browser, it will open the folder in the file manager I prefer?I want PCManFM as my default, but I also want to keep Thunar installed (good to have a backup, and Thunar's great for bulk renaming).
After one of the recent upgrades of my Debian Testing the default file manager in KDE switched from Dolphin to Konqueror for some reason. How can I switch it back?
I think Nautilus is so slow, and I'd like to move to PCmanFM, but didn't find any good tips how to do this in Ubuntu 12.10.
I have PCmanFM installed already, and I even changed:
$ sudo gedit /usr/share/applications/nautilus-folder-handler.desktop
[Desktop Entry]
Name=Files
Comment=Access and organize files
Exec=pcmanfm %U
Icon=system-file-manager
Terminal=false
NoDisplay=true
Type=Application

I have a two files, file A and B, which have 5 columns, and each 5 columns are made up of random numbers, that means, numbers are all different.
