I am using psa for my web and mail hosting with Centos. I reboot the server and when I start psa an error occured "service named failed". I did a little research and named.conf file doesn't exist anywhere. I can't download bind because plesk allready downloaded and I can't run bind too. Please this is urgent.

I have webmin CP and have installed BIND DNS server. When I click Start BIND link on upper right corner of the page nothing happens, just my page got refreshed? Is this normal or should I see STOP link rather than Start link?

Moving from dnsmasq to BIND 1 year 44 weeks ago

I'm trying to move from dnsmasq to BIND so I could host couple of domains, but I have problem with BIND. I can start BIND without problems, but seems like local cannot connect to the BIND.

Here's my named.conf

I'm new to Cloud servers and CentOS so bear with me :)

I'm running a CentOS 6 server on Rackspace Cloud. I've installed Virtualmin 3.89 (GPL version) and most of it seems to be configured and running ok.

When I add a new virtual server i get the following error:

hi,

i'm trying to setup a samba4 domain controler using these guidlines http://www.matrix44.net/cms/notes/gn...h-ubuntu-12-04, but i have an error when reaching the step 5.

Setting up bind to always return the same IP address for every A record no matter what the request is working based on the configuration below however what is not working is the ns records are not being returned correctly as is required by some domain registrars.
