http://askubuntu.com – I installed Ubuntu with a VirtualBox on my mac. But the more I use Ubuntu, the more I install package, the more it becomes very slow to launch on my VirtualBox. By the way, it makes slow all the apps running on my mac. Is there any other virtual environment more efficient than VirtualBox ? (HowTos)

When i tryed to update my virtualbox 3.0.12 to 3.1. i got an error message...

I had a major crash on my ubuntu 12.04.lts computer system. I had to push the restart button in order to get the computer to run again.

Info: I installed virtualbox latest edition and the extension pack. It succeeded, but when I tried to import virtual machines into virtualbox, from a usb hard drive, the system froze.

I just installed Ubuntu 12.10 and was trying to install a Windows 8 Virtualbox. I downloaded the 64bit Virtualbox file from virtualbox.org, it then took me to Ubuntu software center where I installed another file virtualbox-4.2.

The program initially wouldn't show up, so I logged out and then it did show up.

I'm using ubuntu 9.04. From last few days I'm trying to install a virtualbox,but i can't. I went to this link for virtualbox. https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds_3_0 Found the virtualbox for my version. After downloading it in xp i restarted my pc and opened ubuntu. While installing by package installer there is a problem.

I am running 12.04 32-bit ubuntu. I need some help with the Virtualbox kernal. Hopefully someone can help me or point me in the righ direction, google has been unhelpful.

I must of not typed it correctly into the package manager because I didn't find virtualbox.So, I downloaded virtualbox 4.2 from the website which was a *.deb file. I ran the file and it seemed to install.
