saw this on Google play, was wondering if it would work for Google nexus 7 or not? I've checked other places but they dont really specify if it works for nexus or not.

I've just bought a new hTC Sensation XE With Beats audio a week ago, it all works so great, But I've Noticed something yesterday,
When I Plug In My beats audio headset ( That Came With The Phone ), NO beats Audio Icon is showing in the notification bar, & There is No beats audio Option available in the sound settings or in the sound enhancer :( :(.

Beats Audio for CM9, AKOP, MIUI -> Here (not tested)
Was using DSP Manager, now I switched to beats audio. high performance improvement in my Atrix.
NOTE :- Remove the DSP Manager via Titanium (or similar app) to avoid conflict !!

I'm new to the whole Beats Audio thing. I was under the impression that Beats Audio only worked when using a Beats headset. Is this not the case? I noticed that Beats turns on when I plug in my headset from an old Samsung phone.

Hi, I can`t say that I`m a fan of beats audio but without it, the phone lacks a bit of bass impact, this is compared to an siii, ipod touch 3g and ipad 2, the volume is also very low without beats with the 4th notch equal to the first on the siii but that is fine since I like listening to my music softly.

Works greats, but the only problem that is I've lost the Beats Audio driver which came with Sense 4.0 and I'd quite like it back.
Like me many a15 users facing issues after installing beats audio .. Dsp manager and music fx gets corrupt .I got the success of coming out from this issue without going to service station.
So i am writing steps which will help you to recover our mobile's audio .
1. Installed root explorer and busybox
2. Deleted music fx folder from system files..
Is the Beats Audio setting universal ? In other words does the program being enabled make the sound enhanced (on the speaker and headphones) on all Audio programs? I plan on using BOTH the HTC(preinstalled on Phone) Music player, AND Google Play Music programs. It make's a difference.
