best way to sync pics from Phone *to* cloud ("from" not as important)

http://forum.xda-developers.com – I want to sync photos from my phone to .. well I don't really care.. just somewhere in the cloud.. web accessible, and serving as a backup copy. Could be Picassa, Google+, as I said.. I don't care much... I don't neccessarily want to sync back down form the cloud.. ie. keeping data usage in mind (or if I could sync only via WiFi) Under settings I see "Sync Google Photos"... no idea where those end up? Also "Sync Picassa Web Albums" and "Instant Sync" I've enabled these.. and see nothing thru my Google web interface ?!?! any guidance? thanks (HowTos)

I own Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300) 4.1.2 with a root enabled. I've noticed that my Google account sync settings may suddenly reset. For example, I go Settings - Accounts - Google - <my account> and tick "Sync Calendar", "Sync Contacts", "Sync Gmail". Then I press "Sync now". Everything is ok so far.

My Photon MB855 calendar sync works great from anything added to the Google calendar, but what I add on my phone does not sync back to Google. In the "manage calendar" settings under "phone calendar" it says "not synced" and does not let me do so. I can make it "visible" , but not sync it back to Google. Any help would be great. Thanks

Hello all, I went through this weekend and deleted some contacts from Google that I no longer needed. However, my Evo 4G now won't sync with my google contacts. Whenever I try to Sync I get the message "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." GMail and Calendar will sync, only Contacts won't.

I tried every single way. I stopped "Google Photos", "Google+", "Instant Upload" from syncing.. Then deleted all "Gallery" data. Few seconds later, Picasa albums were there AGAIN!!

My Google contacts won't sync. It just says sync is experiencing issues. Try again later. So I unchecked it in my settings to keep it from trying to sync to see if that was why I was getting the "GMail sign in failed." error, but I'm still getting it. Anyone know how to fix these?

My contacts seem to have doubled up viz: Picasa Web Albums - Pete Cresswell - Misc.

Thankfully, the dupes do not seem to have penetrated my contact DB (i.e. they only show up when I bring up Phone | Contacts....

Hello,

I am using a Samsung Infuse running Gingerbread (2.3.6) and Ethereal's ROM v1.4. I am having a pretty major problem that I cannot seem to fix, so I will go into detail in the hopes that someone will be able to help me.

My phone will go into a complete freeze state if Google attempts to sync my contacts, requiring me to remove the battery for a reboot.
