Hey guys, ive got a small problem. I find it very frustrating that music players on android can sort music only by artist, genre or album :frown:
Is there a player that lets you select music you wish to play from folders?
thanks!
What's a good music player on Android?
The Samsung music player is decent, but I like viewing by Artist and then by Album, however when viewing by Artist you can't have albums repeat because it's basically one giant list.
This has lead me to search for other music players.
I installed Banshee and haven't been happy with its ability to detect the artist/album metadata when I tried to rip a CD. I set up the lastfm integration to get the metadata from there but even that was sometimes incorrect or incomplete. Rhythmbox hasn't been much better.
Is there a music ripper/player out there that is better able to fetch CD artist/album metadata?
I've been playing with CarHome Ultra a bit, and it looks great, except for one thing - the media control buttons don't control either Google Play Music or WinAmp.
I love the S3's stock music player, but having ,say, The Beatles listed under T, is a pain. Is there a work around for this?
I know other players do it, but I havent found any other that has letters down the rhs. I have a large collection and its much easier going directly to Z than scrolling down through every artist.
Hi,
I have this annoying problem. Whenever the Music player is in the notification area, I cannot select it and return to the list (albums, artists, genre etc). It is like caught in showing the current album being played...Is it me that can't find a way to navigate here? Or is it really by design that I have to start the player again to select another artist or whatever?

My music is syncing fine and playing fine on my SG3, but the genre's are all screwed up. About 1500 of the 1800 songs are going to a genre called TA. Not sure what TA means, but that's where the majority are my songs are going as far as genres. I'm using Kies on my PC to get the music on my SG3. Also, I've tried other software like doubletwist and that gives me the same issues.
I've copied a number of music songs in the WMA format onto my phone's SD card using the supplier USB cable. However, when I open the Music app (or WinAmp for that matter) the song's album is displayed, but the artist is not. This is despite that the artist is contained in both the 'Author' and 'Artist' fields when viewed from Windows explorer.
I have a Sim Free Samsung Galaxy W.
I have a big music library.
