What is the best way to remove all the bloatware from the S4 stockroom? I know Titanium backup lets you uninstall but its hard to tell what is what in there.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
So I'm having some trouble. I got my gs4 a few weeks ago. I currently have the ME7 version. When I fist got it I rooted it and deleted all the bloatware. Big mistake. I know, I'm a total noob. Now I can't upgrade. Is there anyway I can restore all the bloatware so I can upgrade my phone? In the future I know just to freeze the bloatware and not remove it completely.
When trying to use Titanium get a failed to locate the apk file error. I also tried root explorer and when I go to the Cust folder where the cricket bloatware is located still cant delete I tried to change it to RW and it just stays in read only. Has anyone found a way to remove the bloat on the ICS root?
I have tried to install busy bos and update superuser as well still same issues.
Carriers in the United States are notorious for loading new devices with bloatware. Bloatware, for those unaware, includes the pesky applications that carriers have installed to greet users right out of the box. Unless you root the device, it is almost impossible to ditch any type of bloatware.
I am running stock rooted 4.1.1 on samsung galaxy s3 i747m (bell). I have taken a lot of time and care to remove (uninstall) all the carrier bloatware w Titatnium Backup. Why is it that when I factory reset, all the carrier bloatware is restored (no other uninstalled system apps are restored, only the carrier crap)? What process is restoring these?
