So I have my nice new GN2 and my nice couple month old Nexus 7 both sporting awesome NFC tech, but what to do with it? My first though was pairing them via bt and using the lte from my Note 2 over my college's sad excuse for a wifi system to power my N7 during the day. Then I though maybe auto establishing a tablettalk connection as well.
After searching the Web all weekend and not finding answers, I found a solution, that's working for me right now, to connect your P7510 to your wifi tether off your phone. The app I'm using is wifi tether v3.1-beta11, I just set device profile to auto, setup method to auto and boom my galaxy tab recognized and connected to my phone.
Guys, need some help. I am on AOPK JB ROM and Wifi Tether is supposed to work, et I am having troubles getting it to work on mine. I have used both the built in hot spot as well as Wifi Tether for Root. On the built in hot spot, it will work till the point of showing up on my tablet or other phones.
Hey guys,
So I managed to install clockworkmod, and rooted by stock rom with superadmin. I installed Wifi Tether for root phones, it works perfectly. I ran across some issues though. There is something strange happening.
My AT&T Samsung Note 2 (SGH-i317) has been downgraded and unlocked and is finally working on my new carrier (Movistar) thanks to your forum article (http://androidforums.com/t-galaxy-note-2-all-things-root/711598-need-hel...).
However it still wants to automatically "upgrade" using the AT&T software.
So I've been trying to use TabletTalk on my N10 but everytime I try to connect I get "Connection Timed Out (Code 1). Anyone know what the problem is?
I recently bought the Kohler Bluetooth showerhead K9245(the chrome one).
My other two phones connected to it via bluetooth without any problems.
(VZW Galaxy Nexus and iPhone 4)
However, I keep having issues trying to connect my Verizon Galaxy Note 2
to it. It will pair and connect, but the connection gets dropped after a couple
of minutes.
Been experimenting with tethering my Nexus 7 to my Razr MAXX via Bluetooth using PDANet Tablet on the Nexus and PDANet/Foxfi on the phone. While it works for general browsing, I noticed some apps can't connect (Reddit client BaconReader for example, also HBO GO sometimes among a couple others ) at all claiming there is no network available.
Is there a reason for this, or a fix?
Just recently bought a Asus Nexus 7 and I find it an awesome device.
Unfortunately, I was surprised to see there is no option to turn my device into a wifi hotspot
or to share my nexus internet through USB to other computers.
thus I am now looking for apps that can help me achieve this
and would greatly appreciate anyone who has any recommendation for me..
p.s :- I tried wifi Hotspot a
