In the great, wide world of journalism, games journalism is a weird animal. Those who “practice” – and practice it well – face a barrage of PR perks, free trips, and angry houses. Access is given and taken away by marketing folks on a whim. There are a few great news sources (Polygon is one as is Rock, Paper, Shotgun), a few silly ones, and a few horrible ones.
I recently started a YouTube channel and website, since launch I have done all of the videos and brief writing by myself. I am hoping I can find a several people that would help me produce content for my website. Reviews, Comparison Videos, everything. Keep in mind, this is non paying.

Ok so I am pretty tech savvy.. but have no experience playing with Android's backend. Basically I have been using my Galaxy Tab 10.1 for over 6 months without a problem (on honeycomb) but since it forced an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich everything has been laggy -- especially video. The youtube app is unusable unless I switch to Standard Def video.
Open Source codes are used by almost everyone in the tech industry and that is the reason why, large companies release different parts of their application with different licenses. The world would be a really bad place without Open Source software with people writing their own shitty implementations or stealing codes from others.
As the head curator for content at Linux Foundation events, I work with over 500 speakers a year on technical talks. Universally the people chosen to speak at our events have amazing technical knowledge. They know their stuff.
Hey everyone,
I am really happy to be back here after a pretty long absence, but since droid development has sorta died, I've moved on to other projects and I think it's time I had my own project, unlike others making ROMs and good stuff for me :)
Anyway, I am working with my friend to help make this website a reality, so we need your help: Wizmodget - Gear. Gadgets. Tech.
One of the latest plans on XDA is to give ROMs a forum to discuss tech support and common questions so the development threads aren't cluttered with that stuff.
Albino's developement thread is meant for development, meaning posts should be focused on bug reporting (with logcats) and assistence in improving the ROM.
