The Battle for Wesnoth, a free, turn-based tactical strategy game with a high fantasy theme, featuring both single-player, and online/hotseat multiplayer combat, is now at version 1.11.4.

I was wondering that there is no package in 11.3 for installing the great game battle for wesnoth game? In the games repo there is only the games-data. Can anybody tell me where i can get these packages to install wesnoth on 11.3?

Hello! :D Whenever I run a fullscreen game (e.g. 'Battle for Wesnoth' ) all of my system tray applications close. Nothing appears to happen to regular applications, ( e.g. Thunderbird or Terminal ) though.I decided to test something out by running nm-applet in a terminal, then running Wesnoth.
If you do a quick search about strategy games in Ubuntu 11.10‘s Software Center, then you may find a lot of strategy games to try but in this post I’ll introduce you with a turn-based tactical strategy game.
I found this awesome RPG in the Ubuntu Software Center and found that it is really cool!

tried the sudo apt get install -f - still not working get the same message. I tried to run the game, put the sudo apt-get upgrade -f but still no result. so please give me some advice and the name of the wesnoth package at least. thank you in advance.
Hi,
everytime I play a game in fullscreen (no matter what game, assault cube, sauerbraten, supertuxkart, hedgewars) and then quit the game and want to return to my Desktop, I only see a black screen and the mouse, I can hit CTRL + ALT + DEL and ENTER which logs me off, I can hear the KDE logout sound, I cant see the menu though.
Is anyone able to help?
