I had a 3 month old S3 that was draining the battery really fast. I tried everything from a new battery, to flashing back to stock and installing absolutely zero apps. No matter what I tried, the phone was chewing through the battery, even when I wasn't touching it. I would go to bed, wake up, and the phone had lost 20-30% battery.Verizon sent me a replacement, and the same thing was happening.
Today while I was at work I felt my phone getting hot in my pocket. I don't really use my phone at work, and usually my battery life is pretty good throughout the day. Last Saturday I noticed my phones battery draining pretty quickly as well. So I checked my battery usage and this was what I saw today at work after my phone was getting very warm in my pocket. What exactly is mediaserver?
So I'm having the issue where the battery isn't charging. Left it to charge for a couple of hours. Came back, still no charge.
I just installed apex launcher yesterday and thought id change the power toggles icon to battery to keep an eye on how the launcher would affect my battery life. A few hours ago i charged my phone fully. I noticed the battery went to 98 percent fairly quickly but then it went back up to 100. I checked my battery stats to make sure it wasnt just the power toggles playing up.
If i charge the battery when the phone is on it charges quickly like 5% to 100% in about 45 mins ...this quickly charged battery drains in just half a day. Now if i charge the battery when the phone is off it takes regular time to charge fully and lasts 2 days!! Its not convinient to turn off the phone and charge!! help???
I have a custom rom but I have not made a change to it or anything else on my Note 2. Lately, the battery is draining rapidly. Last night I charged the battery 100%, used an app to calibrate it, drained it completely, and then charged it overnight with the phone off.
My phone has been drying very quickly lately. I go to bed with it fully charged and wake up with a dead battery, my phone usually last days without being charged if I don't use it. I noticed earlier today that the wifi icon at the top keeps blinking. What could this mean? Does the blinking wifi icon have anything to do with my battery dying so quickly?
Usually I charge my battery at night. Then use it all day.
My battery have 30-40% left on next day evening.
But on yesterday evening, I transfer data from PC to my phone via USB cable.
It takes around 10-15 minute.
I don't know how many battery left before connect but It should have 30-40% as usual.
but affter I disconect my phone. I notice that my battery is 95%.
Hi everyone, a while ago my phone's battery started draining very, very quickly. Even with the screen off pretty much all the time and no apps running, the battery drained within 3 to 4 hours or so. So I bought a new, 3500mah battery (old one was around 1400). This increased the battery life but it still drained for no reason. I updated my ROM several times but it didn't fix it.
