http://forums.androidcentral.com – I guess it's another one of those threads haha. So after bloating my N4 with apps and everything, I'm beginning to realize that I'm losing more and more screen time. By no means am I unsatisfied with it, but I would love to be able to lengthen my battery life. So can anyone against post some of the small things they've done in order to get more screen time? Also, is it worth getting a battery saving app (as in do they work?) And if they do, what is the consensus for some of the best ones that won't hurt my N4? Finally, I've heard the Franco kernel really increases battery life. In (HowTos)

I'm in the US and wondering about the battery life on this phone. I have a Nexus S and the screen-on time is pitiful. Unfortunately there don't seem to be many nicely laid out objective battery tests of the S like there are on anandtech.

Owners, can you post your battery lives WITH the exact screen-on time from the Battery Use view?

I'm dying over here. I've maxed out all the battery settings and it won't last a full day on 4g. What's the best ROM for battery life? I just want to go 12 hours between charges with light use!

(PS I can't use the battery saving apps because I need to keep an email client running 24/7 for work).

Hi there many of you have thought about battery saving apps. Do they really work? Are there some apps that instead of saving battery just drain your battery even more? Do you know any methods that really save battery?

I know we have a lot of battery life threads and I absolutely love this phone but mine is not getting good battery life. I'm an advanced android user, I know it well and I do know that some devices just have bugs which kill battery life.

I've seen lots of battery life forums, and most of them show great battery life (over 12 hours) with lots of screen time. I'm not even in an LTE area, but I get very good signal. My screen brightness is at about 30% and I have two e-mail accounts (Exchange push and Gmail sync).

First, here's the constants: I keep wifi/BT/GPS on 100% of the time. This was true when battery life was good, and now that battery life is bad. Disabling these will improve battery life, but will not fix my problem.

When the phone is sleeping overnight, I used to get 8-12% battery usage over about 8 hours.

Hello all, Ever since the Jelly bean update I have been getting terrible battery life. I had all of my settings turned off and my screen down to the lowest setting. After a while I just got sick of not being able to use my phone so I bought an extended battery off of ebay for 12 bucks. Take a look at these screen shots.
