I know traditionally you were supposed ti have let phone batteries for out and then charge them to 100% in order to avoid damaging tge battery life. But as i understand it, lithium ion batteries are different. I read that letting these phones loose all charge damages the battery.
So my question is, should i charge randomly throughout the day in my car, by a computer, ect.
New to the Note 2 and curious how to handle the batteries for a longer life?
I have 3 electric bikes with Lead acid batteries.
Hey guys! Some of you might have heard of a new tech for batteries that allows for faster charging, and can hold 3x the charge within the same space as today's batteries for mobile devices like smartphones and tablets which would be awesome!
Hi guys, over the last couple of months ive had three batteries die on me. An officia samsung and two extended gold batteries. When the phone ran out of charge the battery for some reason would refuse to charge. The charge icon seemed to flash up now and then but for some reason the batteries just will not charge.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I would suggest before storing them that you fully charge them! I had a pair of motorola s305 stereo bluetooth headphones and blew out one of the speakers. I set them aside till I got around to replacing the speaker and forgot to periodically charge them.
Please, confirm this information.

How I know, Galaxy S3 uses lithium-Ion technology battery.
This batteries types should be never fully discharged, because the life of battery shortened every time doing that, right?
the.ridikulus.rat wrote: I think this is implemented by the OEM/vendor to improve battery life, but I do not know the exact reason for this behaviour or how it works exactly.No. Lithium Ion batteries are tricky things -- it is difficult (impossible) to determine the charge state based upon battery voltage. Most systems integrate the current (Coulombs / Second) going into or out of the
Battery life might be the biggest concern of any Android power user. Custom kernels, scripts, and applications are some of the many tools users have to squeak out as much battery life as possible out of their devices.
So here in Michigan we had high winds Monday and Tuesday. Our power was fine.
Today? The power is out!
I like it when the power goes out! lol
My wife and daughter, especially my daughter who's in her mid twenties was throwing a fit as if the world was coming to an end! lol
Well, we're all Android smartphone addicts with dying phone batteries.
