I recently purchased a galaxy s3 lte with the extended 3000mah battery. I have found the battery drain to be unusually high. it is draining at around 3% an hour. I am on the sentinel ROM. I changed to the normal slim battery and it also seemed to be draining at a similar rate.

I've seen lots of battery life forums, and most of them show great battery life (over 12 hours) with lots of screen time. I'm not even in an LTE area, but I get very good signal. My screen brightness is at about 30% and I have two e-mail accounts (Exchange push and Gmail sync).
1. Running Juice Defender Ultimate with Lux Paid version....
2. System Power Saving ON. Note : Custom is off!
3. Google Talk is Signed OUT... (Reason for power drain)
4. Samsung Dive is OFF (Settings -> Security) (Possible bug or reason for drain???)
5. Facebook is On.. check every 2 hours.
6. GPS Off, Bluetooth Off... Sync is OFF
7. Voice Command Driving Mode is off...
I have only had this phone for 5 days now and not that much of a talker over the phone but I am completely baffled about the very low battery life on phone calls I was only on the phone for 20 some minutes and it dropped almost 20 percent. I thought this phone was supposed to have a 8 hour battery life of full talk time.

With Google's market place now Google Play, and some apps/games and books at cheap rates I got myself 'Wheres my water'
After 3 hours of playing the battery that was around 90% is now 10%, 1 hour it was plugged into the computer.
Phone is pretty warm too. :eek: :mad:

I'm sorry if someone has already posted a question like this, right now the search function of the forum is down for me. I did a search of this forum on Google and couldn't find anything.
I was pretty shocked to find this in my battery stats. My Bluetooth is off but it using over twice as much of my battery as the screen.
My contacts seem to have doubled up viz: Picasa Web Albums - Pete Cresswell - Misc.
Thankfully, the dupes do not seem to have penetrated my contact DB (i.e. they only show up when I bring up Phone | Contacts....
