I ran the all-in-one toolkit v2.0 to root my at&t htc one x but my phone is showing not rooted. I followed all the steps and successfully unlocked the bootloader then proceeded to flash the TWRP recovery. When I try to run apps that require root my phone says it's not rooted. I downloaded RootChecker app from the playstore and it says phone is not rooted.
Hi Everyone,
I am having issues with my previously rooted Nexus 7. My device was rooted when it first came with Nexus 7 toolkit v2.0 and was rooted successfully. After an update to android 4.2 via the OTA updates, the root status was taken off from the device so I've used to tookit again to restore the root.
Hi all,
I've recently converted from owning an iPhone 4 to purchasing a brand new Galaxy S3 4G (I9305). One of the first things I discovered was the XDA developers forums and the many mouth-watering custom ROMs available. Being unexperienced but adventurous, I attempted to root my device with CF-Root which not surprisingly resulted in a boot-loop.
Hi, I successfully rooted my SGA (Froyo) using SuperOneClick. I then installed Titanium Back Up and Root Explorer. I moved some apps to sd (including Maps and Think Free Office). I removed some of the useless apps that were installed by 3. All was well.
Hi y'all I have ATT Samsung Infuse 2.3.5 Edge. I had it rooted about 8 months ago to use with T-Mobile. All was fine for several months til I did the check for updates and there were and of course I did it. Yea I know better now. But the guy who actually rooted my phone was out of town so I took to someone he recommended. The phone works ie. calling, texting, going on the internet.
Greetings all. I'm a noob who recently rooted my Pantech Marauder phone. I rooted using ICS Root Unlocker 1.0. After the recent Verizon software update OTA this week, I no longer have root on my phone.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I could go about restoring root access to my phone?
I tried the factory reset; however, it resets to the new OTA update.
OK, I am not sure if my phone is rooted now or for sure 100%. What I can tell you is that I do have the following apps installed and did run Root Checker from the market. It did tell me I have root access.
Installed -
Root Explorer
BusyBox
Superuser
All of which are telling me that they are rooted.
Ok now with that being said here is my problem.

I previously rooted my nexus 7. Now, probably because of the latest update, it does not appear to be rooted.
I originally rooted it with the "Nexus Root Toolkit v. 1.5.5 by WugFresh".
