Since my phone got upgraded to ZVD by LG (with some Verizon add-ons like the power-on sound which is cool :)) and I wanted my data back from GSE, I went into CWM and did an advanced restore from the backup I did prior to returning the phone and it restored all my data, apps, wallpaper, etc back to how they were.
Hi Folks,
After S-0ff and Rooting, Like other Users, me too constantly switching between the ROMS. Taking Backup of the App and Restoring the same is kind of
hard due to frequenct switching.
My data is not restoring using TWRP. I made a nand backup of blackbean, using the latest TWRP (3.3.2.0 I think)
I wanted to try LiquidSmooth, since it was 4.2
I liked it a little bit, but I decided to switch back to BB.
My internal card was moved to a 0 folder (thought that was fixed in 3.3.2.0) and my data (apps, app data, account info, etc) is not restoring.
I am going to be using the holidays to switch over my laptop from 11.1 to 11.2. However, this laptop is mission-critical, and it's been in use for years, so I have everything on it, including all the latest 11.1 updates, stuff from non-opensuse repositories, etc.
Hi all,
i've some questions about the data encryption feature on ICS
i'm on mimicry 1.4.0, is it working on this ROM?
how it works? and with wich program?
Can anyone explain what exactly the Android Backup API is used for?
I have read Using the Backup API and Data Backup from the Developer Docs, but it is still unclear to me.
When is data backed up & restored?
Specifically in these situations:
A user installs my app on Device 1, data is backed up, and the user then installs my app on Device 2.
I am using kubuntu 10.04 and now I want to install Mac on my PC.
I have my data scattered in over 200 Gb and I want take a backup such that with one command all my data is saved into a single file.
Then if my MAC installation fails then just format my hard drive and restore the system in its original form.
I know about "dd" but I am skeptic about it .
Is it possible?
Hello all,
I updated my Galaxy S3 to 4.1.2 a couple of weeks ago. After the update, my phone started acting very crazy. It would freeze constantly, my messages would disappear and reappear randomly, and I constantly had to remove the phone's battery. Today, I decided to backup my phone's data with Samsung Kies so that I could do a factory reset.
Hi,
I've got a serious problem with OpenRecovery Script : it can't restore data. /system is restored, as boot, .android_secure, etc, but /data and /sd-ext are lost during the restore. And it is really annoying to lose all data after a restore :/ Is there any solution possible ?
