I'm running CentOS 6.4 as a file server and looking for a simple backup & restore solution. All files should be backup to a NAS.
Can you suggest anything? I have tried the fwbackups, but getting errors during the compilation from source. Cannot get it to work.
Hi guys. The SFTP server at this site is using CentOS 6 and I've been asked to find a automated backup solution for it. Ideally, the manager is requested a full system image first, followed by daily or weekly incremental backups on the data only.
Are there any easy to use GUI based backup/recovery software that's compatible with CentOS?
I have Centos 6.2 32-bit running on a disk and 4 other disks on the same server managed with LVM to store data.
Now i need to install centos 64-bit in place of the 32-bit, but i need to go back to the LVM config as it was.
How can i backup/restore LVM config and data after i have formatted the 32-bit and installed the 64-bit?
