maybe i missed smthg, but i don't find in the forum instructions to perform a backup (mydata.tgz) on the command line; i'd like to know the command in order to remotly administrate my servers per ssh
I have a for loop where I've tried to cat a file and have it loop line by line. If there are no spaces in the line, things seem to be ok but if there are it cycles through each word cutting up the line. Here is a trap read debug. It runs the command twice on each word.
I'd like to try archfs or rdiff-backup-fs (as I understand it's same) but can't figure the right command line.
I make (test) backup with command rdiff-backup in-dir out-dir changed/deleted some files and make backup again few times. I was able to find "lost" files but it's hard to do. archfs is a tool to make that easyer but I don't know how to set up.
