Hello,
So I just downloaded a LiveCD (r3) and decided to give Reaver a go on my Macbook Pro using an RT73 USB wireless device I had.
I booted into the GUI and identified my wireless card on wlan1
I then ran
Code:
airmon-ng start wlan1
to put it in monitor mode on mon0.
I used
Code:
airodump-ng wlan1
and picked the appropriate WPA encrypted MAC Address.
I ran reaver wi
I'm running backtrack5 R3 and currently testing reaver 1.4
Once it runs it get stuck at 90.90% first then 99.99%
On question I have is:
Does reaver need to get to 100% before finding anything or does 100% refer to any possible combination of 7 digits pin?
The reason why I'm asking is because if it get stuck at 90.90 and pin e.g.
I thought some of you may find this nifty little Reaver tool helpful, basically you type in how your seconds per pin rate, and what % complete the attack is, the user is then presented with the MAXIMUM time it will take Reaver to crack the pin, it has a countdown timer built in, http://pastehtml.com/view/cek96ydvv.html
hi guys :)
in this "video-recording"{yet another}I wanted to test the use of tool "reaver" content in BT5-r3 versus MY-AP (with-wps-enable) ....... nothing new!

Hello, I hope this is the right section for my question..
I noticed that reaver starts trying pings starting from 00XX XXXX, the last six digits change somehow randomly but the first two increase in order.
I have successfully used Backtrack before with reaver, but as reaver is now being quite buggy for me, I've decided to try Fern Wifi Cracker. I installed backtrack 5 on VM (Ubuntu), and I have a WG111v2 for packet injection, which has worked successfully in the past. On backtrack 5r2 and r3, I have tried running Fern 1.6 and 1.7 versions. Everything works fine until I try to wifi attack.
Hi there guys, well iv been trying out reaver on bt5v3. And so far iv got no luck out of it.
I checked some videos on youtube talks about how to install BT on diff linux tablets i.e. Galaxy Tab and really wonder if reaver, aircrack or whatever tools would be working just fine or let say detecting the wireless adapter (wlanXX) embedded in the tablet as a normal WiFi device to start the work? and if yes, will I expect the same performance as with Laptops and PCs??
