I dumped an sql database from our server so that we could replace hard drive, now that I go back to dump the sql file back into the database I get an error (syntax-illegal character). Is there a way to repair the dumped sql file? Is there a way to dump this back to the database so that phpMyadmin can repair.
I wanted to add database to my android project, other databases that are on phone seem to work fine. When i tried mine, utility i try to view my db, reports that database image is malformed and it can't execute query to list tables and views.
I tried to copy db manually and see if soemthing wrong happens when i copy it from ass4ets to data folder, but result was the same.

I have a rooted EVO 4G that has worked fine until now, I backed up the phone to my PC with a full copy back up but did not back up the ROM Manager like I usually do, I tried to restore the phone and it will not place the saved calander with the copy and paste back to the phone through the USB when mounted as a disk drive, I have all the contacts and apps that I need saved but lost all of my caland
I have a few programs that have an default back up that make an .sql file which is great but I also use OpenX which runs on PHP and has a database. That does not have an auto-back-up feature so do I just download the database and that's it?
I have a hard drive onto which we back up all of our personal pictures and videos (Drive 2). It is a Seagate 2TB SATA drive.
I want to start making a quarterly back up of this drive on an identical Seagate 2TB SATA drive (Drive 3). I disconnected my boot drive (Drive 1) and replaced it with this Drive 3 for the purpose of secondary backup.
