I am trying to install drivers for my bcm4312 wireles card on ubuntu server 13.04. I have followed instructions on http://www.broadcom.com/docs/linux_sta/README.txt and tried to both compile source and using apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source.
I recently installed Ubuntu 14.04 on a computer with a Broadcom BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY wireless card. After installing the proprietary drivers available from the Ubuntu repositories, I was able to see other wifis (my neighbours') APs, but not mine. I tried several drivers without success.
I just installed Ubuntu 10.4 for the netbook on my HP Mini 1000 and the wireless is not working. It won't detect any signal. I've tried activating the Broadcom drivers that were listed in Hardware Drivers and neither worked. I also did a full update.
