The keyboard issue after upgrading to ICS has been fixed by Sony.
i did a OTA update (settings > about phone > software update) and received a 1 mb update file.
Downloaded and installed.
This fixed the azerty keyboard back to qwerty!
We had a strange complaint from a user, he has a 3x4 keyboard installed on his Android device
When the user tries to fill in a textField, the textField is not correct when the user presses the same button multiple times on a 3x4 keyboard (not an azerty or qwerty keyboard).
Hello again,{skip paragraph for problems} After installing scim for typing in Chinese (I followed the howto), I had a problem: using the number keys wouldn't work, for example: I type wo and expect to get "我" after choosing it in the list with "1" but instead I would get "我&" because I'm using a French azerty where lowercase 1 is &.

normally backspace do the same thing as alt ← , but it's better (same as in folders)
for me it's not working, ubuntu-desktop 10.04, I installed it with USA as langage
not working with firefox too, but can be changed in about:config browser.somethign
But for chromium I need it, I have put back French as keyboard langage (I have azerty kb) not working better
