This is exactly what I ran into. It is described in the 2nd section at http://www.bashton.com/blog/20... [by Skaperen]
I tried to use the internal site redirection option of Directadmin, to point a site to a subdirectory.
So I made the redirect to http://www.domain.com/blog/
However, this is the result in the browser url bar (also without the trailing slash) when you visit http://domain.com
I want http://blog.domain.com/ to point to http://www.domain.com/blog
Just a notice, not to redirect to that location, but just point to it.
Also /blog is not a folder.
New blog: http://ivisitnewyork.com
I have started a new blog about 1 month and 10 days ago. I want to know the concept I am focusing on is interesting or need more effort to make more valuable content.
Any suggestion and guidance. !?

How do I redirect requests coming to http://blog.mysite.com to http://mysite.com/blog?
Reading the apache docs on when not to use the rewrite mod, I tried a simple redirect e.g.
Redirect http://blog.mysite.com http://mysite.com/blog
But when I visit http://blog.mysite.com, it doesn't redirect me. Any suggestions?
