If a subprocess hangs your awesome will hang. That's how it is.What your widget is doing is executing "amixer get Master", and that appears to hang now. What happens if you execute it from a terminal emulator?

I know this isn't RAZR specific, but I thought I'd share a slick widget I just downloaded.. It's "another volume widget" called Slider Widget. It looks like all the rest but is much better designed in its functionality. Thumbs up.

I accidentally deleted the "My Library" widget from the home screen of my wife's new Google Nexus 7 tablet. So, on the tablet, I went to the appropriate screen for adding widgets. I soon found the "My Library" widget. Unfortunately, it was greyed out.
