http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I noticed that my firewire drives don't automount in gnome. In fact, I can't seem to mount them without having to authenticate like I can with USB drives. Is there something special about firewire drives from USB drives? I just noticed this with F17 but honestly I don't know if I'd tried firewire drives under gnome til after my F17 update so it could have been this way with previous release. I can go to nautilus and mount the drive but it asks for my password. The udisks command can mount it without authentication though. (HowTos)
